Your Mission as a Senior Gameplay Designer is to bring Quests and Encounters that deepen our game world and showcase our core game mechanics from conception through to completion. Working with Level, Creature, and Narrative designers while supported by Art teams you will collaborate and coordinate the work required to create simple daily quests to complex multiplayer encounters.

Areas for Impact

    • Creatively label and contextualize existing content to support new Quests and Encounters
    • Mix and match existing systems and mechanics into novel player experiences of varying length and complexity
    • Working with cross disciplinary teams to ensure that Quests and Encounters support the core loop, showcase core gameplay, and deeper our game world
    • Mentor junior designers through the process of Quest and Encounter design and implementation by providing feedback and working to improve their tools and workflows
    • Proactively suggests improvements to design process, tools, workflows, and game design

    • Doing all your chores in Animal Crossing everyday
    • Positive and self-motivated
    • Enjoys collaborating with other designers as well as other disciplines
    • Familiar with programming and/or scripting languages or game engine experience - Unreal Engine (Blueprint) preferred
    • Experience shipping Quests, Encounters, or similar content in an RPG or MMORPG (asset)
