Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

This position is within Corporate Trust Services (CTS) – Document Custody.

  • Monitor and manage incoming workflow.
  • Prioritize and distribute work to maximize operating efficiencies
  • Respond to customer questions as needed.
  • Perform research to respond to customer inquiries within appropriate time frame.
  • Review a set percentage of staff production to provide quality control.
  • Provide training to employees.
  • Perform customer reporting in various databases.
  • Provide coverage in the absence of team members, including managerial tasks when needed.
  • Communicate delays in processing when out of the normal processing timelines.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide manager with feedback. Employee feedback may also be given as determined by the manager.
  • Track trends in customer requests, alerting management to changes in customer needs.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 18+ months of experience in one or a combination of the following: operations, customer interaction, production or general office environment demonstrated through work or military experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to independently provide summary and recommendations on operational data
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the residential mortgage product type and documents.
  • Document Custody and emBTRUST Experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Job Expectations

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds
