The Team

You will be a crucial team member of the new Turkish Sourcing office of PVH, reporting to the Raw Material Manager.

Be part of a team that increases brand engagement and consideration in the markets and drives traffic and conversion at full price. You will be a proactive business partner with all stakeholders, internal and external.

The Position

As (Senior) Merchandiser you will be responsible for sample and order execution for the Brand and collaborate with different teams. Assist the manager for the day to day execution and operations in line with the brand’s strategy to achieve KPI’s.

Primary responsibilities of the job:

• Communication with vendors and business counter-parts
• Execute based on agreed product and service standards as well as cost objectives from the brand
• R&D + Development of fabric qualities based on Global Design Brief
• Price negotiation and cost expectation management
• Manage fabrics based on Global Quality Manual (GQM) + Restricted Substance List (RSL)
• Update and support Mills on GQM requirements
• Propose technical solutions to Mills based on GQM requirements
• Cost analysis management and problem shooting
• Manage production delivery against the plan
• WIP management
• Manage timeline from development to bulk shipment
• Ensure garment/product integrity, style and product execution
• Compile various reports
• Assist manager to deliver on KPI’s

The Ideal Candidate

• 3 - 5 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent - textile education
• Apparel, material or technical background preferred
• Should have experience in buying/trading office or manufacturing environment
• Ability to think out of the box
• Being open to changes
• Ability to work with multi-cultural, multi- lingual, multi-time zone business partners and counter-parts
