As a System Compatibility Engineer in the mNAND Engineering Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for system-level characterization, and experimentation as requested. You will be running and configuring diagnostic software, designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, creating custom tools, and presenting data to customers inside Micron. To accomplish these responsibilities, you will use a variety of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc...). You will work with other engineers within the Systems Compatibility Group, Application Engineering Groups, Product Engineering, and other groups throughout Micron.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Manage Micron Product Qualifications with Internal Customers
-Modify test scripts and code
-Create and document test procedures
-Analyze and compile test results
Design and Implement Micron Product Qualification Automation
-Create test scripts
-Create and modify hardware that controls test parameters (i.e. temperature or voltage)
-Interface customer diagnostics with pre-existing automation scheme
-Collaborate with internal software group
Perform System Characterization
-Use software, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and other tools to understand memory usage
-Develop software to interpret data
-Collaborate with Product and Application Engineering
-Communicate results
