Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the GDPS development team, you will use design documentation, such as Functional Programming Specifications and high level design documents to develop the identified components. You will also ensure that the implemented components are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product. Software developers also provide fixes to defects identified by the verification team during the software development life cycle and by customers using the product. You are self-directed with a strong drive to achieve results and you are a strong team contributor. It is required that you are fluent in English and you will need to have strong capability to work with remote teams, including other development labs and test departments.

Experience in Copy Services

Experience NetView
Basic knowledge System Automation (SA) programming
Experience Rexx programming
Experience in ASM programming
Experience in PLX programming
Experience in z/OS, DS8K, & GDPS problem determination (including reading SVC sumps & using IPCS)
