Job Description

As a Global Quality (GQ) Non Volatile Memory- SSD, Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Failure Analysis (FA) Engineer at Micron Technology, you will have to perform FA on customer SSD and work with various engineering groups to identify the best methodology for failure analysis with internal stakeholder. You will be responsible to manage a small opertation team running system level failure analysis of customer returned products. You will drive the operation team to identify the failure mode and generate and deliver the metrics for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform FA on customer returned drives
• Design and implementation of test condition to meet application model
• Maintain Knowledge of Product Drive Capabilities and Characteristics
• Maintain operational knowledge on FA diagnostic tools and methodologies
• Managed SSD RMA Lab & equipment
• Maintain documentation and records for internal & external audit

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (Electronics, Electrical, Mechantronics or any related engineering field of study)

Experience

• Experience in any of the following will be advantages : -
  • SSD knowledge
  • Understanding of 8D problem solving and failure analysis process
  • Design and implementation of test condition to meet application model.
  • Customer/ Vendor Interface
  • Good communication, documentation skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to effectively communicate and interact with global team members
