Aruba Asia Pacific & Japan Channels is seeking a Partner Success Manager for new channel partners across APAC countries, this is a sales role located in Malaysia. You will work closely with a target set of new Aruba partners to enable and train them to sell SMB and Midmarket networking solutions. The key performance measure of success are an increasing number of transactions and sales-value for the target partners. This is sales role on 60/40 plan working as part of the Distributor sales team.
Responsibilities
Working closely with Aruba’s Distributors and Internal stakeholders to grow the breadth and capability of partners to ensure they know how to utilise sales tools, processes and programs in order to sell more products and services more often. The partners will generally be new or inexperienced with the Aruba portfolio, This role requires the “human touch” to engage partners, build relationships, gain their interest, enable and train them to sell Aruba solutions competently.
This role requires a person with high level of communications skills including written and presentation, an engaging personality, who can sympathetically connect with partners using tools such as Zoom/Teams and Folloz. Personal traits needed are high energy, self-motivation, an unstoppable attitude and can bounce back from setbacks & rejection. You will have approximately 5 years’ experience in the information technology industry. Multiple spoken languages is highly desirable.
Working as part of an international sales team including the in-country Aruba Distributor Business Managers, Transactions Sales Leader & Distributor’s in many countries including India, China, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and others.
Education and Experience
Two year university degree preferred or equivalent experience. Typically 3+ years of IT support or selling experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Possesses a good understanding of general/technical aspects of the job. Demonstrates on-going compliance with attendance requirements, training, expectations, and completed tasks at the direction of management. Exhibits knowledge of the company's portfolio of products or capacity to learn and utilize product resources to meet job requirements. Demonstrates performance with increased year-over- year attach rates. Exhibits knowledge of the company's portfolio of products or capacity to learn and utilize product resources to meet job requirements. With management guidance, proactively contacts and sells products/services and completes lead follow-up with assigned area of responsibility. Strong presentation and communication skills.
Impact/Scope
Works in assigned territory/ account. Shares quota with the field.
Complexity
Works under on-going guidance of supervisor/mentor.
