Summary: SAP Ariba Sourcing team is looking for experienced UI Developers who will work on the best-in-class cloud-based Business to Business e-commerce product. As a developer, you will be responsible for end to end feature development from requirements, design and development of software components across global deployments at scale. The primary areas of technology this team works on are Java, Web, REST, Micro services, Angular, Springboot, GitHub, HTML and CSS.

The Role:

As a senior developer, you will be working with Architects, Product managers and junior developers to deliver key enhancements and features in the SAP Ariba Sourcing product.

• Tasks would include Design, coding, testing and quality assurance of complex product features.
• Work closely with Product managers, Architects, User interaction designers, and QA engineers.
• Building POCs.
• Help develop test plans and also write test cases wherever needed.
• Plays an integral role in the entire software development lifecycle including participation in design sessions, defining functional requirements, working with development teams and testing.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 - 10 years of experience in developing web-based applications.
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, Database, Operating Systems
• Good knowledge and experience of designing and developing UI framework and components
• Experience of developing complex user interface components and interactions using Angular, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience of User Interface Performance tuning
• Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues. Shows initiative and drives topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
• Works closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success.
• Has advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team and organization.
• Has advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards.
• Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications and change management principles
• Above all, you should have an open mind. As a senior developer in our unit, you need to be eager to develop application software for the Cloud.
