As an Associate with St. Vincent's HealthCare-FL, you will have the opportunity to conduct complex quality data analysis and clinical decision support for designated system(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements quality, safety, reliability and customer satisfaction metrics and analytics.
  • Collaborates on metric development, reporting system design and design and delivery of routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Develops approaches to presenting information including presentations and communications. Supports complex project management, improvement initiatives and tactical decisions/plans with limited guidance.
  • Benchmarks national best practices and makes recommendations for change as appropriate.

The Sr Quality Data Analyst position seeks to improve the efficiency and profit of the medical center by evaluating the financial, data management and operational activity.

  • This position is a highly analytical position which turns data into information to support the strategic positioning and future growth of the Orthopedic Service Line.
  • This position is responsible for the development, analysis, and preparation of strategic reports using financial, quality and operating results to achieve overall service line, entity and system strategic goals and objectives.

The primary responsibility of this position is to pinpoint problems or improvement areas within the Orthopedic Service Line to maximize performance and profit.

  • Designs, develops and executes standard reports, custom reports and data files for stakeholders.
  • Interprets data and analyzes results using statistical techniques and provides ongoing reports.
  • Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Validates results to ensure data integrity of reports and/or files produced
  • Establishes and documents report data formatting, delivery methods and maintenance procedures.
  • Supports initiatives and projects related to provision of service line outcomes
  • Submits routine reports to stakeholders and executive team as requested.
  • Participates in appropriate hospital committees as representative of Service Line.
  • Provides education to Service Line staff related to data reports.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
