We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties:

• Analyze and understand data sources & APIs
• Design and Develop methods to connect & collect data from different data sources
• Design and Develop methods to filter/cleanse the data
• Design and Develop SQL , Hive queries, APIs to extract data from the store
• Work closely with data Scientists to ensure the source data is aggregated and cleansed
• Work with product managers to understand the business objectives
• Work with cloud and data architects to define robust architecture in cloud setup pipelines and work flows
• Work with DevOps to build automated data pipelines

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years with Data Engineering and Data Analysis
• 4+ years experience using Big Data technologies including Hadoop, NoSQL, Apache Spark, and Hive
• 2+ years experience scripting with Python
• 2+ years experience in a client facing role
• 2+ years experience with Java and REST
• 2+ years experience with version control using Git
• 3+ years experience in Agile Scrum
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Skills:

• 1+ years experience in Finance & banking systems, Fraud, Payments
• 1+ years experience with HTTP and invoking web-APIs
• 1+ years experience with machine learning engineering
• 1+ years experience with NLP and text processing
• 1+ years experience with pipelines, job scheduling and workflow management
