Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The Business Analyst will work with the Business Initiatives team supporting Regulatory, Cash Management, Forms and system initiatives. You will work closely with the Business Initiatives (BI) team, IT, Compliance, Operations and other head office groups to assist with identifying, analyzing, documenting and delivering improvements to client and advisor experiences while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
What will you do?
- Research, analyze, prioritize suggestions and issues raised by advisory teams, training, operations and project teams and recommend solutions
- Develop and analyze spreadsheets and documents for new and existing initiatives or maintenance projects (small to large of varying complexity)
- Performing user acceptance and implementation testing for CS, COB, myDashboard, Bankwire, ACWS and ServiceLink applications and support testing and data reconciliation after releases are implemented
- Work with BI Managers on detailed requirement phases identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues related to Regulatory, Cash Management and Forms initiatives.
- Assist with end user documentation, training and various initiatives and questions from advisory teams, Operations, IT and Training department
- Communicate to Advisory teams and collaborate with partners and colleagues who are impacted by an issue or remediation activity.
- Develop communications to post on DSNet, CounselNet and send in National emails
- Create environment and reputation of collaboration within the team and with our partners
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Minimum of 3 years' experience and knowledge of DS or PHN client account opening and client service processes
- Broad knowledge of Canadian Wealth Management systems (e.g. ClientSource, ClientView, eSignLite, Investment Policy Statement Tools, myDashboard and ServiceLink)
- Must be motivated and work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional relationship, communication and analytical skills. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal partners
- Developed problem solving skills and innovative thinking
- On occasion, will be required to work on weekends or weeknights to complete implementation testing
Nice to Have
- Proficient in Microsoft products especially Excel
- Familiar with project framework and methods of gathering requirements
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies; IIROC, CSA, OSC, CRA, FINTRAC, Consumer Protection
