This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2021.

Role Overview

In this role you will be part of Visible’s Technology Solutions Team.This role reports to Patrick Gartner as a SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Technical Support role. You will contribute to complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects using your technical skills. As part of your daily responsibilities you will review product requirements with internal customers and external partnerships. This includes managing schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders

  • Responsibilities and Exposure
  • Establishes and owns processes that are common to SRE Support
  • Manage KPIs, care support escalations, and incident reporting to executives
  • Responsible for governance of support vendors and internal support organization
  • Perform periodic audits on the Visible Platform
  • Management and Governance Operation Support agreements
  • Ensure a stable and secure operational environment for Visible digital business applications to increase system availability, reliability and scalability through the management of outsourced and insourced service providers.
  • Define operational priorities
  • Manage usage on Google Cloud Platform or Sales Force cloud

What we’re looking for...

  • Must be a current participant of Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2021.
  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience

Even better if you have:

  • Java or GKE /Kubernetes / cloud experience
  • Quality Control UAT - FUT experience
  • Solid written, verbal, presentation skills
  • Google product suite (Slides / Docs / Sheets)
  • Knowledge of DevOps experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Project Management skills
  • Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, Waterfall, or Kanban
  • Good understanding of software application, infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
