What You Will Do

Responsibilities:

• Provide care at an Ascension Employer Solutions clinic and Employer Based Clinic locations in the Central Wisconsin area
• Manage and direct patient care (Acute Care, Chronic Care and Occupational Care) including physical exams, evaluations, assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans
• Perform minor procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care and stabilizing sprains and fractures
• Order and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests, X-rays and EKGs
• Document/chart patient information
• Ensure proper follow-up care, chart documentation and protocols are being followed by staff
• Ability to occasionally travel within service area, mileage reimbursement provided
• Comfortable working in an autonomous role
• DOT exams

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration. Verified by local Credentialing Office.

Education:

• Diploma
  • Master's degree of Nursing required
  • - Will need be DOT certified within 1 month of start. Will assist with avenues to prepare for this.

Work Experience:

• None required.
