As an engineer with the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Managed NAND Product Engineer team, you will work with a brilliant team of engineers to tackle complex problems. You will be responsible for coordinating product development and resources as well as defining, implementing and optimizing test methodologies and conditions for Managed NAND System Level products.

Over the complete lifecycle of the product you will have the opportunity to work with various engineering and manufacturing groups to tackle, develop, validate and optimize device testing for customer returns and to meet specific product requirements. You will learn new tester platforms, write test programs, collect data, and statistically analyze the results to help resolve issues quickly. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to: introduce and develop groundbreaking products and processes, improve/optimize manufacturing yields, and achieve cost reductions. Responsibilities:

  • Drive and enable optimal test solution and test methodology for mNAND products.
  • Drive and support new protocol enablement and capability bring up.
  • Working with ASIC design to validate device functionality and marginality.
  • Coordinate multi-functional teams for successful resolution of product issues, driving root cause, fix and corrective action.
  • Develop tools and capability for system issue segmentation.
  • Troubleshoot, develop or validate mNAND product to support product development and qualification.
  • Analyze, and interpret data from high volume manufacturing and characterization with respect to program requirements.
  • Ensure that the Memory System meets product expectations
  • Work closely with new product introduction team and dev team to meet product delivery dates and resolve customer integration issues and technical requests.
  • Actively participate and engage in product engineering meetings and focus teams.
  • Provide technical training and expertise
  • Routinely communicate overall product status to leadership and cross functional teams

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this exciting opportunity will have:

  • Memory and Storage System behavior, architecture and design
  • Memory cell operations, device physics and reliability mechanisms
  • ASIC development knowledge including RTL simulation and debug.
  • Solid understanding of storage interface such as eMMC, UFS, PCIe, SATA etc.
  • Experience working with embedded systems.
  • Excellent statistical knowledge, data analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently in a very fast paced environment and adapt to change
  • Drive to determine root-cause and provide corrective action for product issues
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams to understand and fix a wide variety of issues
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and hardworking in a challenging, dynamic environment
