Join us as a Configuration Manager, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As a Configuration Manager, you will support process spanning the entire life cycle of one or many products and projects. The purpose is to ensure completeness and correctness of the source code, requirements, and documentation configurations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identification, definition, and baselining of configuration items (managing product and project documentation areas; maintaining configuration items lists, etc.)
- Control of modifications (participate in Change Control Board)
- Control of releases (including to create releases in Hydra document management system)
- Recording and reporting on status of configuration items
- Methodology and improvements including automation of processes where possible (together with DevOps)
Qualifications
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.;
- You have five (5) years of relevant experience;
- Experience and deep interest in Configuration Management;
- Basic understanding of SW engineering practices, including requirements, design, coding, code reviews and static analysis, testing (unit, sub-system), builds, continuous integration and delivery (e.g. Jenkins, Doxygen, DOORS,the PDM tool , etc.)
- Excellent English communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
