Job Description
Our product team is growing and looking for a Technical Program Manager to join us and facilitate the delivery of WePay’s products. You will partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to support complex, multi-disciplinary technology programs that empower WePay to scale. You will also help champion the development of a self-service program for new engineering hires
What You Will Do:
- Support strategic planning by working to align engineering and cross-functional teams on the prioritization and blueprinting of technical projects and milestones.
- Track and report on projects’ progress, risks, and successes to extended leadership and other key stakeholders
- Maintain, streamline and improve upon our SmartsSheets documentation to further enhance our project/program tracking and cross-functional collaboration.
- Champion the creation of a self-service training program for WePayers including a documentation portal covering our program management methodologies, standards and processes.
- Act as internal glue ensuring effective communication and collaboration between product and engineering and across the greater org.
- Support various product/program initiatives by clearing roadblocks, mitigating risks etc.
What We Are Looking For:
- You have technical project and program management experience working in complex product and engineering environments (ideally within SaaS, PaaS businesses).
- You are a SmartSheets ninja (or have the passion and aptitude to become one) who can provide support for the planning and execution of projects in SmartSheets.
- You are an effective collaborator with strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- You have an agilist mindset with a creative and flexible approach to empowering teams to deliver optimal value and results.
- You are highly adaptable - with the DNA to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- You are highly organized and self-driven with the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives concurrently.
- You are data-driven and analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- You have a technical background with a technical degree and/or equivalent technical experience.
- You have experience in fin-tech and/or a keen interest in the payments space.
- If you have previous experience with technical writing/documentation and/or training that would be a huge plus.
