Market Job Description
Oversee the underwriting and portfolio management activities for Wells Fargo Distribution Finance – Technology Channel Finance (Formerly Commercial Distribution Finance – Tech) in Europe and the Middle East. Manage team of 11 people in EMEA supporting ~200 technology reseller relationships and $2.5bn of credit lines. Partner with Commercial Organization to understand client needs and develop credit appropriate financing solutions and strategies. Work with Global Channel Finance leadership team to integrate the EMEA team into Global Technology Channel Finance platform.
- Oversight of 200 reseller relationships with credit lines ranging from $1MM to $600MM
- Manage underwriting and portfolio management activities across Europe and the Middle East - including structuring transactions to meet business requirements and stated risk appetite.
- Accountable for risk ratings
- Ensure compliance with all regional and regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo policies
- Partner with Commercial team and business leaders to support growth opportunities and execution of business strategy
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Coordinating the flow of underwriting transactions between the EMEA business and Independent Risk Management
- Work with Global Technology Channel Finance leadership to integrate EMEA team into Global Technology Channel Finance Platform.
Market Skills and Certifications
- Asset based lending experience
- Experience managing larger teams and a high volume of underwriting activities
- Substantial Underwriting Experience
- Experience managing a team is required
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (desired)
- Ability to work across multiple legal entities and stakeholders
