Join us as a Senior Manager Complex Bids, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Toronto.
As a Senior Manager Complex Bids, you will coordinate the development of Services Complex Bids (PPP and turnkey opportunities) globally by supporting the region with experienced resources ensuring a standardised approach to all pre-bid, bid and project activities, leveraging lessons learned from previous opportunities, and undertaking specific generic bid activities (including early partnering selection, developing commercial solutions, bid strategy) driving the ultimate competitive value proposition.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support regional bid teams by defining bid strategy, assisting with activities to complex bids (infrastructure, facilities, wayside systems LCC, system energy analysis, etc.)
- Early involvement of services across bid lifecycle in support of realising growth objectives, including partnering selection and negotiations;
- Continued support during the bid including OMJV/contractor services agreement, Interface Agreement with Design Build contractor, Commercial/ Financial activities;
- Continued post NTP OMJV support ranging from Board of Directors participation as BT to seconded resource support as OMJV;
- Coordinate the continual development of optimization opportunities driving our competitiveness.
Qualifications
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline, Business Administration or equivalent;
- Public and private sector bidding and process experience;
- Knowledge of, and participation in, Complex Bids such as PPP’s and Turnkey solutions;
- Rail industry and/or rail market experience
- Experience in the “After-Sales” market and drivers;
- Strong analytical, financial and technical capabilities;
- Good communication skills in English, spoken and written.
