As a Project Manager on the marketing creative team, you'll report to the Creative Director and work alongside a newly-formed creative team to create and deliver projects supporting our consumer, enterprise, and government lines of business . Your primary role will be managing, planning, and coordinating projects that touch the creative team. You are an organized self-starter who is comfortable with a startup environment and fast timelines. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for interfacing with marketing and other internal teams to brief-in and drive projects. The ideal candidate will be driven to build a brand that our customers love and demand.

This is a 3 mo contract with the potential for full-time conversion. Open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage creative projects through the intake, review, and distribution of final assets to ensure accurate and timely execution of projects
  • Socialize timing and expectations internally and externally, communicating status updates and roadblocks on a consistent basis
  • Understand business goals and connect them with prioritization of incoming project requests, escalating when prioritization is unclear
  • Vet creative briefs to ensure all details are included for a successful creative kick-off
  • Solicit timely feedback at key project milestones, pushing back when necessary to prevent scope creep
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to examine resource workload and assign projects accordingly
  • Keep a “finger on the pulse” of all creative projects, flagging those at risk
  • Bring a positive, solution-oriented mindset to tackling problems, building cross-functional relationships along the way
  • Stand up initial processes–optimizing and improving over time
  • Keep the well-being of the creative team top-of-mind, supporting the proper space and time for creative development and avoiding burnout

What we value:

  • 4+ years of project management in the creative space, preferably in a startup environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A clear understanding of how creative teams work (copy + design)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work on many projects and fast timelines
  • Ability to “read the room” and make tactful calls in the moment
  • A calm approach to challenges and stressful situations

Consider applying if your experience is close to what we described above. We look for people with exceptional potential, as we know highest performing teams include people of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
