Operating in a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment you will need to engage in projects that will drive business growth and help shape the future of Amazon Retail in EU. We expect that you can work independently, think both strategically and tactically, and take full control and responsibility for achieving your goals. The candidate will demonstrate above-average skills on multiple dimensions: energizing large teams, building relationships across a highly matrixed organization, analyzing complex data sets and managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. The candidate acts as an owner and coach who is determined to build a team of leaders.
What is the role?
Your objectives will be to help building the best possible selection for our customers with the development of partnerships with new and existing vendors. Your job will consist of prospecting, assessing, reaching out to and integrating both potential local and international vendors for Amazon.
As the Head of EU Expansion, MVR you will:
- Support adding incremental selection to the EU Retail platform.
- Lead a team of leaders, with each of them managing a small group of vendor managers towards ambitious on-boarding targets.
- Liaise with peers in EU5 on lead management and on-boarding best practices.
- Support the technological innovation of Retail Systems via the Mass Vendor Recruitment (MVR) project management team in Luxembourg.
- Collaborate with Finance on Operational Planning processes.
- Report on selection growth and other key metrics to senior Retail stakeholders.
- Support and provide guidance to team members and engage with stakeholders
