Material Handler

DESCRIPTION

The Material Handler will work as a team with other Material Handlers, Non-Inventory Receivers and Procurement Ops Analyst(s) to administer the flow of non-inventory goods; including MRO supplies, packaging supplies, gift wrap, safety equipment, tools and reusables.
Job functions include,
· Accurately put away non-inventory goods
· Stage product in work areas
· Organization of packaging supplies and gift wrap
· Cleaning and organizing the markets
· Empty pallet removal from markets to the first floor,
· GoCart counting and handling
· Assisting with sending out yellow totes, black pallet sleeves,
· Maintaining appropriate levels of shipping supplies in mini-markets/WIP and supermarkets.
· Assures the delivery of expensed or capital items to the appropriate location or parties.
Work environment
· Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts
· Noise level varies and can be loud
· Temperature in the fulfillment center may vary between 60 and 90 degrees, and will occasionally exceed 90 degrees
· Fast paced environment
