About the Role

AppDynamics is building a world-class design team to deliver user experience designs that are useful, usable, and delightful.

As a UX Design intern, you will work closely with fellow designers and product teams in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment to create experiences that enable our users to make faster decisions that improve operational and business performance.

To succeed in this role, you must:

• Have a B.Des or M.Des degree
• Be excited to learn the enterprise domain and be motivated to solve complex problems for users
• Participate in user research activities including usability testing, seeking to understand user needs
• Produce designs ranging from whiteboard sketches to high fidelity mockups
• Demonstrate an ability to apply typography, color, and layout principles as they relate to UI
• Demonstrate an ability to visually express ideas with clarity
• Have strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• The requirement is for 2021/22 passout only

Preferred:

• Rapid interactive prototyping skills
• Data visualization skills

What you will learn

• How to create and iterate designs that are informed and validated through user research
• How to effectively communicate your design concepts to a variety of audiences and stakeholders
• How to work in a cross-disciplinary environment, with product managers and engineers, to create compelling designs that meet the needs of our users
• How to facilitate collaborative design discussions and activities
