Sr Business Analyst

Responsible for working both independently and as a part of a team to implement IT initiatives that will enable our Company to deploy consistent global business processes, common global information, and IT supporting projects / application / technology suite. The individual will have expertise within IT requirements, supply chain, MRP/ERP systems, and general business management. The individual will work across all phases of projects and report progress to goals, manage any budget/profit plan activities, identify key risks and mitigation strategies, provide direct support for other process teams in the region as applicable, and complete other duties as needed or assigned.

Functional Expertise:

This position requires knowledge and experience in own discipline while still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. The position will build knowledge of the company, processes, clients/customers and will solve a range of problems while providing possible solutions. This position may often work autonomously with a moderate level of guidance and direction. In group work, applies team effectiveness skills, listening and integrating diverse perspectives from across the work group; contributes and adds value to the achievement of team goals.

Primary Activities :

The Senior Specialist, Business/Technical Analysis will be responsible for providing technical support and leadership to plant project teams, data management, interfaces to other systems, performance, growth analysis, contractor supervision, standards administration, documentation, continuity planning and design skills. The Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting the following as the discipline requires:

  • Managing IT projects in compliance with cGMPs.
  • IT representative on major site projects. Providing support as the IT lead on production teams providing technical assistance in fulfilling the IT requirements for the team.
  • Guidance to the IT team for appropriate procedures to ensure compliance with GMP and safety.
  • Leading corrective actions for investigations related to IT systems.
  • Provides direction to ensure design intent of projects throughout the site.
  • Conducts implementation scope/functionality refinement, as needed.
  • Provides input into site business process.
  • Provides leadership and acts as a catalyst to deploy the region’s implementation as required by other site teams in the region.
  • Oversees utilization of resources throughout all phases of the project. Coordinates and negotiates with resource suppliers regarding availability as appropriate.
  • Provides input in Site project team structure and job role definitions.
  • Coordinates change leadership interventions and activities.
  • Oversees execution of user acceptance testing as required.
  • Manages Go-Live cut over activities and post go-live stabilization and support activities.
  • Coordinating audits and training programs in the area of responsibility.
  • IT Lead as required for on-floor support of manufacturing activities.
  • Coordinate/Lead Kaizen events.
  • Coordinates IT portions of regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Direct support of validation activities and all other associated Quality functions.
  • Prioritizes standard requests from clients and/or customers.

Minimum Education:

HS - Certifications or work exp equivalent - Bachelors preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight years’ experience in support of business / Information Technology in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated technical exp with server hardware ( networking ) and software
    Demonstrated technical exp with end-to-end network infrastructure
    Exp with laboratory device connectivity
    Exp with System Life Cycle documentation practices
    Exp with Data Integrity requirements
    Exp with cybersecurity protocols
  • Minimum of eight years’ exp in support of business / Information Technology in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise wide projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead key projects across multiple site disciplines and successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects. Must be able to appropriately manage associated project resources and assigned site personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and actively support a long term vision and implement incremental milestones in support of vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others in a cross-functional organization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and actively support a long term vision and implement incremental milestones in support of vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others in a cross-functional organization.
  • Working knowledge of the regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical applications is preferred.
  • Exp in computer validation and systems life cycle development methodology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Highly desired skills include systems analysis and design, problem solving, and requirements gathering.
  • Exp with Lean/Six Sigma methodology is desired.
