We are seeking a Senior Manager of Business Operations for the DEG Product Engineering Organization to supervise the global operations of DRAM Product Engineering. This includes driving the Micron values throughout the team and leading broad cross functional program management of Micron initiatives, budgeting and headcount, and powerful communication strategies and execution. For this role you must bring innovation and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and business acuity, and a passion for driving Micron’s values.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Works directly with the VP of DEG Product Engineering (DRAM PE) to ensure all aspects of the business including planning, communication, headcount, talent acquisition and management are aligned to Micron’s goals.
• Defines and executes key professional development strategies for all PE team members based on their role requirements and needs. This involves working with the corporate teams and HR as well as identifying key gaps and defining programs that elevate the overall efficiency of the organization.
• Creates and executes strategic communication plans including but not limited to Town Hall meetings, weekly newsletters, ad hoc communication needs, messaging for key events and general updates.
• Manages and tracks the overall budgets in alignment with key roadmap needs, programs, and initiatives.
• Oversees strategy meetings including coordination and metric reviews (i.e. performance to plan)
• Acts as a proxy for VP of DEG Product Engineer in meetings and addresses problems at lowest level
• Participates in overall strategy discussions and facilitate business execution
• Examines existing processes, evaluates them within the context of organizational goals and proposes changes or improvements to help achieve goals
• Enable and foster a culture of high organizational performance through internal and cross-group initiatives, morale events, and lead cross-team projects to optimize organizational performance

Required Experience:

• Proven background in driving strategy to execution through programs, leadership, and innovation.
• A record of performance excellence for current area of responsibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic business planning and execution experience.
• Proven track record to tackle problems across multi-functional groups, both inside and outside the department.

Education:

• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering preferred, Bachelors or Masters in Marketing, Communications or Business required.
