We are currently seeking a Data Governance Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

Role Responsibilities:

·Experience assessing, defining, and recommending high-level architecture and strategizing the prioritization of a roadmap for implementing MDM

·Worked with various clients on key MDM, Data Strategy, Data Governance/Management, and Data Quality implementations; Understanding of industry tools, technologies, best practices, and trends to identify key gaps and recommendations for clients;

·Experience in leading data governance/management teams across the business and technical resources to identify gaps, provide recommendations on closing gaps, and gaining consensus on prioritization;

·Experience interfacing with resources at all levels of the organization in evaluating current state assessment and delivering key strategic recommendations and guidance to executives and program sponsors;

·Expert understanding of data quality capabilities, practices, and program definition

·Expert in understanding governance models, industry best practices, data roles (data stewards, data owners, data custodians, etc.) and governance practices;

·Experience with MDM tools, data governance, metadata, data quality, data dictionary, and other data governance toolsets;

·Functional understanding with key master domains such as Product, Materials, Customer, Supplier, Finance, HR, Etc.

·Identify and define the right strategies to integrate Master data with other operational systems to leverage the Master data more efficiently and effectively

·Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for development, QA, and production support for the MDM platform

·Implement master data management standards, enforce data governance procedures, and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms

·Provide thought leadership and direction to the tech leads and developers

·Design, document and maintain data processes and flows across Master Data Management (MDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

·Assist with business process mapping, data modeling, data mapping, and data visualization for product-related data initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent technical expertise.

*5+ years of experience analyzing data and data governance/data management principles within a Management Consulting environment

*3+ years of Manufacturing and/or Life Sciences industry experience (including ERP solutions (SAP, Baan, etc.)

*5+ years of experience with Data Design, Data Architecture, or Big Data repositories

*5+ years of Master Data Management(MDM-Client Data Domain, strategies and methodologies, IT architectures, data standards and general knowledge of a business function(s) and of business operations)

*Ability to travel according to client demands, post-Covid restrictions (up to 50%)

Preferences:

*Knowledge of SAP Master Data Governance tools
