The Sales Operations Manager, Brand Partnerships role for Nielsen Sports & Esports will be responsible for independently, and in support of other team member pursuits, developing, selling and delivering integrated solutions to Brand clients in the North American Brand sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with brands team to strategically develop a go-to-market strategy for penetrating new business categories (ie. Top Tier clients to regional targets)
  • Compile necessary tools/marketing materials/data points to target specific brands/categories
  • Support Brands team throughout the entire sales cycle from lead generation & cold calling to sales completion
  • Provide research in advance of sales pitch meetings (current sponsorships, category intelligence, company news, PR headlines, etc.)
  • Support new pitch meetings and work with sales director on appropriate follow up materials
  • Facilitate project setup where required
  • Build sales proposals with meeting specific information
  • Ability to liaise with internal cross functional teams to support client & internal need
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate large internal systems
  • Confidence in the ability to set meetings with appropriate contacts (including C-suite and executive leaders)
  • Understand the “hunter mentality” and the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to close
  • Able to meet and exceed a sales quota
  • Confident in client facing communications
  • Excellent networker
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a sales or account management role; Industry applicable experience in sports and/or esports preferred
