Territory Manager, Cardiac Rhythm Management (South Central)

Job Description

Recruiting for an experienced Territory Manager to support the Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio (South Central – key accounts include Southampton, Basingstoke, Bournemouth, Royal Berkshire).

The TM will provide the primary sales input at a territory level to the customer base, implementing defined strategies with the purpose of increasing market share and revenue generation. The TM will be conversant in, and able to effectively communicate the rationale of using Abbott products within the medical application to which targeted, providing practical and theoretical technical support to the existing or potential customer base. The TM must understand the dynamics of the local healthcare market, Company and competitors’ strategies impacting the accounts within the assigned sales territory and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of products, clinical practice and quality and regulatory requirements.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to utilize an analytical sales methodology to execute sales tactics, develop and implement account plans to achieve annual operating plan revenues and manage customer relationships to optimise profitable sales revenues from existing accounts whilst also developing market penetration strategies to establish new accounts. The TM will provide technical support and therapy knowledge whenever requested within the assigned accounts, and must gain clinical certification in order to cover cases in their accounts.

Candidates should live on territory. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in a relevant discipline, with prior complex medical device experience demonstrating solid sales success. Knowledge of the cardiology market and CRM preferred.
