This position sits at our LAX site.
Purpose of the job
This position sits at our LAX site and provides administrative support to the Commissioning Manager, Asset Manager and MMIS Super User with key coordination and logistical support responsibilities to Maximo.
Reporting to Deputy Project Manager; you will initially assist in the setup of the MMIS tool (Maximo) from a data capture role. This involves working with the Super User and Maximo support in Kingston, Pittsburgh and St.Bruno to ensure data captured from civil and Bombardier installation teams is complete and accurate for the loading into Maximo.
Key responsibilities
Manage the day to day work related to Maximo for:
- Incident tracking and feedback
- Work Orders; Initiating, Updating the system with results.
- Reporting KPIs as requested by management.
Dispositioning of paperwork for:
- Initial equipment (equipment, tools and spares) movement into stores.
- Shipping of assets going to vendors for repair and return
- Items needing calibrations updates
- Materials needed to support day to day operations
Support the Commissioning Manager
Implements and enforces HSE requirements on site with the support of HSE team representatives.
Interface with the Maximo Super User and O&M JV as directed by the Commissioning Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
Education
- Certificate in Office management, computer skills.
Relevant experience required
- 3-5 years relevant experience
Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role
- IBM ® Maximo proficiency
- Familiarity with MRP systems (e.g. SAP), Asset Management experience considered an asse
Other requirements
- Excellent Computer Skills with competence in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to ramp up quickly on Maximo.
