Job Description Summary
As a Group Life & Disability Regional Vice President (RVP) - Employee Benefits you will be responsible for the sales of Group Life, STD and LTD services through the General Agency, Regional Broker and National Firm distribution channels focusing on the 100 + life segment. The Group Life & Disability Regional Vice President develops and maintains broker relationships to achieve sales goals for Transamerica’s group life, short-term disability and long-term disability products. As the Group Life & Disability Regional Vice President, you will act as the liaison with the home office staff, ensuring sales goals are met through excellent programs and customer service. You will be responsible for identifying brokers and working with our existing Voluntary Benefits RVP team. The ideal candidate is located in NV, CO, UT, AZ, TX, or IL.
Job Description

What Success Looks Like:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share within an assigned region, with a focus on the ancillary marketplace.
  • Achieve sales goals within allotted budget as designated by sales leadership.
  • Provide brokers with sales and marketing support, customer service, and education.
  • Work with Account Management to ensure broker and client satisfaction.
  • Keep current on product offerings, sales practices and techniques.
  • Work closely with the Voluntary Benefits sales team to share leads and expertise.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience
  • Five years of group life, STD & LTD sales experience
  • Life & Health license
  • Group ancillary experience
  • Proven annual sales premiums of $2M+
  • Ability to quote 150 lines per month
  • Good understanding of underwriting and experience ratings
  • Outstanding written/oral communication and relationship building skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce experience

Working Conditions

  • Work remote from home
  • Extension travel to meet with broker
  • Flexible work hours to accommodate client needs
