In your role, you will:
Responsible for the effective and efficient scheduling of demonstration aircraft and crew in support of Business Aircraft sales and reporting on said activities.
• Performs managerial responsibilities and recommends related actions, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, PMP, training and certifications, work assignments, scheduling vacation, monitoring attendance, review, approve, and verify/ensure accuracy of employees hours worked and time charged to correct aircraft program
• Oversees the activities of the scheduling group to optimize demonstration aircraft utilization and pilot resource usage
• Develops and maintains scheduling standards and procedures to ensure scheduling regulatory compliance and efficient scheduling processes that are in accordance with company requirements and policies
• Coordinates with the Maintenance Department to ensure optimum schedule for maintenance activities
• Develops metrics to track key performance indicators for the BBAD Flight Ops group
• Continually seeks improvement in scheduling technologies and processes
• Tracks time-sharing flight arrangements with participating customers
• Interfaces with other Bombardier departments to maximize use of department resources as needed or called for, such as aircraft and crews and scheduling/dispatch services
• Coordinates with other Bombardier departments in the scheduling of pilot services support for “Entry Into Service” and “Interim Lift Contractual” commitments
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the DFO
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
• You have a Bachelors degree in Aviation or Business or equivalent experience in a related field
• You have a minimum 5 years experience in corporate dispatch operations
• You have previous management/supervisor experience - preferred
• You have a dispatcher license - preferred
