Responsible for the development and maintenance of the program master delivery schedule, and the material planning and control effort required to support the master delivery schedule. Ensures that the latest accepted resource planning techniques are utilized in creating all program production and material schedules, and that commitments are met in a manner that fulfills contractual and customer requirements.
The Supply Chain Manager acts as liaison between Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering and suppliers in resolving constraints and insuring cost effective methods, processes, and flow of material. Participate as a member of product teams for existing products and new product introductions. Manages resources and provides status information and feedback to internal customers and managers.

Required Skills and Education
  1. Responsible for MRP planning and implementing activities related to production control functions, material planning and production scheduling. Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems. Takes a lead role in developing improvements in the materials supply chain. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develops material schedules and coordinated the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Provides general supervision to employees within the unit.
  2. Responsible for cost reductions, evaluating Company spending related to production programs and MRO purchases. Identifies, pursues, and implements cost improvements to benefit Company margins.
  3. Leads the resolution of supply chain issues impacting manufacturing as well as supplier feedback, selection and coordinates where technical assistance is required.
  4. Responsible for the management of all shipping, receiving and stock room activities. Ensures proper and consistent flow of materials to production. Maintain high inventory accuracy and a healthy cycle counting program.
  5. Responsible for Export Compliance for all international shipping activities as well as all Import Compliance for all international procurements and returns.
  6. Responsible for Customer Service functions, including all order entry, returned material processes, and customer communications related to sales orders communications with customer. Ensures that these activities are coordinated for the purpose of meeting the Company’s commitment to our customers.
  7. Takes lead roles in NetSuite ERP activities, including analysis and process improvement. Coordinates NetSuite upgrade activities that take place every 6 months.
  8. Represents procurement at design reviews, Configuration Control Board (CCB), make versus buy meetings, and Material Review Board (MRB) meetings.
  9. Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively monitor operations with excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  10. Results driven, analytical, self motivated, detail oriented with ability to logically identify alternate solutions or approaches to complex problems.
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Minimum of 12+ years related experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management, Finance
  • Certifications in Resource Management, Purchasing Management, Production and/or Inventory Management Programs (CIRM, NAPM, CPM, APICS, CPIM)
  • Experience in Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement / Lean Methodologies a plus.
  • Experience in electronics/semiconductor environment a plus.
  • Medical or Dental product experience a plus.
