Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is the national umbrella organization for the nation’s leading network of women’s health care providers, educators, and advocates, serving women, men, teens and families. Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a dynamic and effective Manager focused on the organization’s delivery system transformation efforts and other key policy areas that intersect with health center operations. This job reports to the Director of the Health Care Investment Program (HCIP) in the Government Relations Department at PPFA. The Health Care Investment Program focuses on leveraging innovation and change in the broader health care system to ensure that the unique health care needs of Planned Parenthood patients are being met.

Purpose

• Support the Associate Director of HCIP in executing the team’s affiliate engagements, which focus on advancing key health finance and health care reform goals in select states.
• Manage the execution of webinars, conferences, and convenings to uplift lessons learned, best practices, and overall thinking around health system transformation and our affiliate’s experience.
• Support and manage the creation, production, and review processes for a variety of products that further HCIP’s affiliate engagements and strategic goals.
• Work in tandem with the Public Policy and Health Care Operations teams to make proactive connections between the emerging issues in health policy, our affiliate engagements, and health center operations.
• Manage and oversee a metrics-driven reporting system to track progress monthly, quarterly, and yearly with a focus on rigorous quality-control measures of the Health Care Investment Program.
• Develop knowledge, expertise, and skills related to emerging and complex health care delivery issues, both those driven by health center operations and those rooted in changes to the larger health care system.

Delivery

• Drive the project management of our team’s affiliate engagements.
• Support the facilitation of key meetings and planning processes that drive towards outcomes.
• Effectively facilitate communication with and input from affiliates and other key stakeholders to ensure smart planning, collaborative execution, and transparency about progress and challenges.
• Create written and verbal reports, presentations, and communications on campaigns and initiatives for National Office staff and affiliates.
• Provide timely and comprehensive reports to leadership on project progress, including the development of year-end reports designed to elevate lessons learned from the program.
• Support both the HCIP and broader Public Policy team by performing other duties managerial duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years in health care-related work with proven project management experience.
• Collaborative spirit and willingness to learn
• Strong customer service skills
• Independent problem solver with experience developing new solutions, standards, and/or procedures
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with Planned Parenthood affiliates specifically or women's health or reproductive health field generally is a plus.
• Passion for health care and PPFA’s mission.
• Knowledge of diverse groups, working within a multicultural workforce, and sensitivity
• and appreciation to cultural differences is required.

TRAVEL

• 10-25% domestic travel

Starting Salary: 70k *LI-KM1 Final offers for this job will be based on capabilities and will be made within the parameters of the PPFA compensation program.
