Senior Adjudication Associate - Mortgage Credit

What is the opportunity?

You will review and communicate credit decisions for complex Mortgage Specialist deals. You will provide exceptions requiring expert knowledge, experience and analysis relative to risk policy. You will assess the inherent risks while respecting Bank policies and recommend exceptions to credit principles, rules and guidelines. You will develop a strong relationship with sales and service partners by providing ongoing coaching to ensure optimal client satisfaction.

• Positively impact the sales force through quality coaching and valuable feedback
• Ensure submissions include sound credit judgment and adherence to policy and procedures
• Resolve escalated client issues or credit guideline/policy gaps
• Identify innovation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Centre

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

• Lending experience, including complex mortgage underwriting
• Solid knowledge and understanding of credit lending guidelines and policy
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work a set Tuesday to Saturday shift, as per the following (Tues to Friday 11AM to 7PM and Sat 8 to 4PM)
• Due to the Covid 19 situation, the position will be home based until we are able to return to the office and the expectation is for the employee to be working from the office location
