Job Description

Known as the 'knowledge behind the numbers', Financial Analysts are considered to be trusted business advisors, working within IBM’s business units and geographies, as well as in a myriad of specialized corporate functions. IBM's finance organization is instrumental in driving innovative improvements to global financial processes while providing measurable value to the business.

We are looking to hire a Financial Analyst to work within the IBM Services Supply Chain Organisation (Previously SPO). Financial analysts are responsible for tracking a company's performance against a plan, analysing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports. Tasks will include (but are not limited to). Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and support to F&P team & senior management. Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting. Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organisation. The FA will be joining a group of existing analysts and workload will be distributed within the current team to ensure even distribution of workload / responsibilities. The role is heavily data driven and will require use of Queries / Excel / Powerpoint in order to collate , understand and present data to leadership team and stake holders.
