What You Will Do

Ascension Providence Hospital is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon for our Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Providence Hospital due to growth.

Position Highlights:

• Opportunity to do a blend of inpatient rounding, outpatient visits (consults and post-op follow-up visits) and cardiothoracic surgeries
• Work in collaboration with primary care and specialty physicians, advanced practice providers and ancillary staff in a supportive environment
• Participate in robust teaching and clinical research activities

Responsibilities:

• Integrate, facilitate and expedite care of patients with cardiothoracic issues

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Preferred Credential(s):

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required

Work Experience:

• Prefer candidates with extensive experience in diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with cardiothoracic surgery issues
• Interest in teaching preferred
