Insight Enterprise is seeking a Sr. SCCM Administrator’s role is to act as the platform owner responsible for architecture design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the existing SCCM infrastructure. This role will ensure high levels of availability, resiliency, and performance. Individual must be able to adapt to changing technology and need to stay at the forefront on leading IT systems and solutions. This will be a 3 month contract with one of our larger Clients

What you’ll do at Insight:

  • Plan, design, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain/upgrade multi-site SCCM environment.
  • Develop and execute patching routines to ensure compliance with security mandates and platform testing requirements
  • Manage Operating System Deployment configuration (WIM files, Driver packages, Customized Task sequences, UEFI/BIOS and Registry configuration).
  • Build and represent change plans in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Create and maintain platform documentation and training materials as well as present training materials in support of SCCM users at remote Operating Units.
  • Application packaging.
  • Must understand and have used Windows Command Shell Script, VBScript, and PowerShell.
  • Practice ITIL methodology for Incident Response, Problem, Configuration, & Change Management.

What you’ll need to join Insight:

  • Minimum of 8 years SCCM administration experience (Design, Implement, Upgrade, Support, Maintain) of a large SCCM deployment (CAS, multiple primaries and secondaries, multiple distribution points, & internet-based client management or CMG.)
  • Extensive experience in Software Distribution, Application Packaging, OS Deployment.
  • Expert understanding of downloading and deploying MS patches through SCCM
  • Previous management of direct reports.
  • Extensive experience working with ITSM systems, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Bases, & Change Plans.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS (preferred) :

  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • MCTS
  • MCSE

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Planning, Designing, Implementing and troubleshooting of SCCM.
  • Sound knowledge of Active Directory integration, GPO management, Reporting analytics from AD
  • Experienced in Windows Server OS Support (2008, 2012 & 2016)
  • In depth understand of Windows Desktop Operating systems (Win7 & Win10).
  • SW Deployment including monthly patching and client health remediation.
  • Troubleshooting skills including logging of issues and root cause analysis.
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office.
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of Registry.
  • Packaging experience should include Wise Package Studio and admin studio along with VBscript and SMS packaging
  • Experience of working with OS tools i.e. MDT, WAIK, Sysprep, WIM, WinPE
  • Experience on creation of application virtualization packages (App-V)
  • Must understand MSI packaging best practices and standards.
