As a People Business Partner, you will provide guidance to leadership on best practices to maximize employee and business efficiencies. You will champion a diverse workforce throughout the employee life cycle. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement through performance management and continuous learning. This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, L&D, employee engagement, and more. In addition, you will own programs that run beyond the People Team. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will help business leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, learning, and the overall employee experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support teams in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience, including but not limited to steering the onboarding program
    • Partner with business leaders and across the people team(and the enterprise) to understand the needs of our team. Take ownership of identifying opportunities, tackling challenging or difficult tasks and seeking to drive improvement
    • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
    • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
    • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
    • Provide guidance to people leaders on daily employee relations and performance management
    • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
    • Support implementation and administer company policies and identify improvements to them
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partnering with the legal department as needed/required
    • Deliver human resource related training to business leaders and teams
    • Assist with creating and distributing internal communications regarding HR-related items
    • Collaborate with leaders and other enterprise HR peers to iterate on ways to improve employee morale and company culture
    • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective actions as needed
    • Support talent management processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 5+ years in People Operations or related experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, or related field preferred
    • PHR or SPHR preferred
    • Demonstrated success in a fast paced organization experiencing transformation
    • Ability to build credibility with all levels of the organization
    • Critical skills include: motivation, initiative, thoroughness, decision making and planning skills
    • Experience with LEAN processes and tools is a plus!
