Sound like you? Then we have the right opportunity—we are looking for a Manager, Business Planning & Support to join us! As part of the Aruba EMEA Strategy, Planning and Operations team this role will manage a team of Country Planners providing excellent Operations business partner support for the Countries in Aruba EMEA, an exciting, fast moving, high growth business. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a positive “can do” attitude, be pro-active, self-driven and highly collaborative with the ability to build relationships and interact with multiple stakeholders including the Aruba Management team. The remit of the role is broad, often with changing priorities, requiring excellent business acumen and problem solving skills, the ability to prioritise and to deal with complex and important topics.
How you’ll make your mark:
- You will manage team of 8.
- You will develop and nurture the team to ensure operational excellence and professionalism through a positive and collaborative approach with a strong sense of team and fun.
- You will drive sales compensation and quota setting and deployment processes aligned with the Aruba business strategy. This includes Sales Territory management and creation, OPSI alignment, upload of data to Sales Comp systems (Anaplan) and management of changes throughout the year as required.
- You will facilitate resolution of Sales Compensation related issues raised by managers and the sales team through investigation and collaboration with SCO team (e.g. manual claims, incorrect / missing account assignments etc)
- You will support business with internal governance processes including: forecasting; Demand Planning; Pipeline management etc
- Provision of high quality, on time business analytics (reporting and insights) to the Aruba Management team, both regular reports and ad-hoc analysis.
- You will support continuous improvement of Pipeline, including data quality, working closely with Geo based teams.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of sales processes, identifying and leveraging best practice in support of delivering the sales strategy.
- You will develop and nurture a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork (across entire Aruba family) and knowledge sharing across all relevant teams and functions.
- You will identify and build relationships with key players in each function both internal & external to EMEA Aruba as well as supporting and enabling the team to build their networks.
- You will drive a culture of collaboration and best practice sharing within both the immediate team and the wider business
- You will develop and maintain an understanding of the applicable HPE business processes for Aruba EMEA Strategy and Planning
- You will maintain strong linkage with the Aruba Finance team to ensure continuity and avoid duplication
- You will liaise and engage with HPE Aruba Channel Operations to ensure processes work in unison and to assist in implementation of any new requirements as we develop the operations
- You will become the sales interface into various other functions depending on the request at hand.
- You will be SME for sales compensation tools, processes and systems
- You will support the sales team with Operational needs related to tool training, process guidance etc as
- You will support maintenance of online content established as key Sales resources in EMEA, SharePoint, Intranet sites etc
About you:
- You have 6+ years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance or a related functional area, preferably in a large competitive MNC.
- You have strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building and conflict resolution.
- You have excellent analytical thinking, analysis and problem solving skills.
- You have a positive approach, intellectual curiosity, humility and accountability
- You have excellent business acumen and commercial awareness, with a ‘run to the fire’ attitude; driving an action-oriented culture: you deliver on your promises
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and influence skills.
- Requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast changing matrixed environment requiring focus and a collaborative approach across teams and functions to meet the team objectives
- Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint experience
- Salesforce.com, Power BI and Anaplan experience would be an advantage
- Fluent English essential and additional Europe, Middle East and Africa region languages an advantage
