Job Description
Do you have a strong background in Product Management and/or Product Operations for cloud-native data, analytics and application services? The Equifax Global Product Management organization is seeking a Senior Director of Global Product Management to oversee and manage enterprise-wide and global product management processes.
Equifax products and solutions across the Risk, Marketing, and Identity & Fraud domains solve challenges in a wide range of industries including, Financial Services, Automotive, Telecommunications and Insurance, across a global footprint.
The successful candidate will have product management and program management experience and skills within agile development and cloud-native environments.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage Equifax’s New Product Innovation (NPI) program across the enterprise.
- Develop process flows and templates for artifacts/deliverables associated with the NPI program.
- Work with organizational counterparts across all functional teams (Business Units and Geographies, Technology, Data & Analytics, Marketing, etc.) to drive strategic planning tied to innovation program objectives.
- Support the business objectives of the enterprise innovation program (revenue growth, new product pipeline, etc.) through consultative support to distributed product management teams. Provide analysis and regular reporting on key metrics to enable product managers and leadership understand performance against goals and identify opportunities for improvements.
- Develop and implement training on product management responsibilities and methodologies, strategic planning processes, and tools.
- Manage monthly leadership reporting for NPI program, Global Platform deployment, and product line operational summaries.
- Implement and support product management methodologies to establish standardized best practices for new product innovation.
- Develop process flows, and templates for artifacts/deliverables with strategic product planning - Strategy Playbook, Multi Generation Product Plans (MGPPs), and Product Line Plans (PLPs) - including both internal and external facing product roadmaps.
- Manage the development of strategy product planning artifacts/deliverables across distributed product management teams.
- Work with Finance to develop and implement the model for ongoing tracking and management of product unit costs and well as other cost categories to support Profit & Loss views of product lines and portfolios.
- Lead development of best practices for the development, implementation and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics over the full product lifecycle.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management and/or product operations experience with cloud-based products.
- 5+ years of program management experience in complex and/or matrixed environments.
- Product management experience and skills within agile development and cloud-native environments.
- Data-savvy - demonstrated experience working in product environments heavily driven by data and analytics.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders without having a formal reporting relationship.
- Familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing, Design Thinking, Jobs-to-be-Done, etc. frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders and being able to represent Equifax to clients and the market.
- Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment.
- Deep attention to detail including precise and effective interpersonal communications, active listening, and proven ability to manage a variety of priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable presenting to an executive audience and commanding large, diverse cross-functional teams in a composed, poised and professional manner.
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Strong project management skills; able to successfully execute in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of time.
