As a DevOps Apprentice at Expedia Group, you will work within an agile team developing technology that powers travel for millions of people every month. The apprenticeship is an 18-month programme which involves an intensive 18-week bootcamp with Makers Academy, followed by on-the-job learning in one of our technical teams, with full support and coaching.

What You’ll Do:
• You will be a part of our Engineering teams and actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and troubleshooting
• Participate in projects, implementing and executing technical requirements using agile development methodologies
• Collaborate with various platform teams to improve and build solutions for our development teams
• Learn how to provide quality implementation and testing of a component or feature with peer and manager support
• Resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur with help from peers or managers
Minimum Requirements
• Educated at the minimum of Level 3 (A-Levels, BTEC, NVQ L3 or equivalent)
• No prior qualifications in Software Development/Computer Science as the apprenticeship is designed to enable learning of new skills
· Permanent right to work in the UK, without the need for visa sponsorship and residency in the UK or an EU country for at least the last 3 years (or have refugee status in the UK)
