Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our office location in Downers Grove, IL (and various client sites nationwide) to drive business process consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance.

Expectations and Tasks: Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Support end-to-end solution design across all relevant solutions including OnPremise, Cloud and Hybrid, apply state-of-the-art methodologies. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business. Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Support of pre-sales activities. Performance of feasibility studies and solution reviews. Support in escalated projects. Responsible from time to time as a (sub-)project lead; team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study and 7 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience. Will accept a three-year degree or combination of degrees/diplomas as meeting the bachelor’s degree requirement.

Work Experience: Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Multiple SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation lifecycle experience and knowledge; SAP Finance functional (ECC / SAP S/4) – both functional and technical; C-Suite engagement expertise as it applies to SAP transformation and the SAP Intelligent Enterprise; Value management and business case development expertise – as it applies to SAP transformation; SAP value Discovery expertise; SAP Transformation Road-mapping expertise; Process modelling and decomposition as it relates to SAP S/4HANA and related SAP Intelligent Enterprise applications; Organizational change management expertise; SAP Finance solution architecture expertise; Enterprise Architecture expertise; and Business modelling. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
