Purpose of Job

This role is responsible for directing the modeling and valuation of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) cash flows, incorporating voluntary and involuntary prepayment rates, market interest rates and servicing discount rates, using and maintaining servicing valuation systems and characterizing performance of the interest rate derivative hedges within the MSR hedging program. Coordinates with cross functional mortgage functions as well as Information Technology, Finance, and Treasury by providing data and information and maintains compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Under minimal supervision uses established procedures and job experience to carry out the most complex work assignments.
• Collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.
• Serves as a coach/mentor to less experienced team members.
• Handles routine, complex and escalated First Mortgage and Home Equity loan/document issues.
• Assists with daily/weekly/monthly production reports and administrative duties as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• General Equivalency Diploma
• 4 or more years of real estate lending and/or secondary marketing experience, including one year of customer service or customer contact.

Preferred

• Pipeline management experience to include managing a portfolio of outstanding collateral/trailing documents and managing a suspense pipeline of curative exceptions on original trailing documents.
• Working knowledge of trailing documents and recording requirements.
• Experience resolving loan level exceptions according to investor/document custodian requirements to meet established delivery timeframe.
• Experience performing document releases, assignments and title claims.
