About This Role:

With general supervisory direction, ideal candidate will be responsible for performing support functions for manufacturing operations within the PCBA Production Unit, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and performing and documenting machine maintenance and calibration procedures. Expectation is that ideal candidate would partner with engineering in developing methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes. Ideal candidate should have minimum 5 years working experience within an industrial setting. Electrical Trade essential.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment problems to minimize down time and improve yields.
• Maintenance activities for automated PC and PLC controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration procedures, as well as author equipment maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Identify, design, and implement process equipment, tooling, and fixture changes to improve reliability of the process.
• Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product.
• Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment.
• Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans and completing validation reports.
• Assist in Value Improvement (VIP), DMAIC and other projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings.
• Collect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization, Ppk, and scrap reduction goals.
• Work with Process Development to bring new products into production.
• Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery.
• Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.
• ESD Test Methods & Troubleshooting skill.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• Electrical Trade Level 6 (120 Credits) and 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated to seek out opportunities to improve process performance.
• Communicates well with peers about issues/problems that arise.
• Good computer skills and systems knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical Trade background a distinct advantage.
• High Electrical aptitude with demonstrated electrical safety and LOTO procedures.
