We are currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join our team in Stennis, Mississippi (US-MS), United States (US).

The Cloud Modernization Architect will be responsible for working closely with DHS customers to modernize and improve hybrid datacenter and cloud operations. They will provide technical thought leadership across a large hybrid datacenter environment for the Department of Homeland Security. Responsible for all aspects of the development and maintenance of assigned enterprise architecture project and takes project from planning through final delivery. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

Duties Include:

Progressively reduce technical debt and provide DHS with the benefits of current technologies

Serve as the Contractor’s technological thought leader

Maintain awareness of emerging technology trends and identify opportunities for their application within the HCE

Identify modernization targets; show the cost/performance advantages of each; prioritize with DHS; architect the modernization target state and implementation approach; and perform IV&V on the engineering team’s implementation

Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics

Required Qualifications
15+ years of Cloud Architectural experience (with Bachelor's degree)
12+ years of Cloud Architectural experience (with Master's degree)
10+ or more years of IT implementation experience
CCSK or CCSP
Cloud certifications for AWS and Azure
Secret clearance

Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven experience driving IT innovation in DHS sector at the program level
Strong track record implementing cloud services in a variety of distributed computing environments
Experience leading large-scale migrations to the cloud
