The IBSO team is committed to deliver a best-in-class and provide best quality solutions to customers. The solution combines software, configuration and customization tools and a cutting edge, rich user experience into a “complete solution offering” that will change the way how customers uses the SAP software

As a Senior Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution as per defined Quality processes & guidelines. You will have to define the end-to-end processes and metrics for software testing within the organization and own the implementation of integration and system testing. You will be the Quality coach for all stakeholders in terms of Process adherence. You will collaborate with project managers and software developers to establish reporting metrics, test scenarios, and efficiencies through test automation and manual techniques to achieve quality objectives.

THE ROLE

• Managing the quality assurance activities for the full lifecycle of the development projects (from evaluation through specification, design, realization until test and support).
• Supporting different project methodologies like waterfall, iterative waterfall and scrum.
• Being a decisive member of large project/program teams advocating the quality of the solution.
• Able to work with Project manager to ensure good quality of delivery
• Ensuring together with the project team that the project meets customer expectations.
• Alignment with other departments like Solution Validation department or production unit concerning quality activities.
• Project assessments and audits.
• Improvement of QM processes and tools with-in SAP IBSO methodology.
• Advising customers regarding quality related topics throughout the whole project lifecycle.
• Define the strategic direction for software quality assurance, including test automation.
• Define tactical steps to achieve objectives, addressing success criteria and resources.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and own responsibility for the quality of the products.
• Review test estimates/schedules for completeness and accuracy and work with Scrum teams to align expectations on schedules and effort.
• Facilitate the creation of continuous improvement and automation practices.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise software focusing on quality, performance and scalability.
• Knowledge on Secure SDL process and corporate requirements
• Able to raise the quality issues in right forum at right time
• Act as a mentor for other QMs within the organization
• Coaching and consulting of development projects regarding IBSO methodology and processes.

ROLE REQUIREMENT

Education and Qualifications

B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA with an aggregate score of 65% or above from a Premium Institute.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong Knowledge of Functional and Non-Functional Testing covering majorly on Performance, Security and Open Source.
• Good knowledge of Project Management & Quality Management
• Good knowledge on Automation tools like Selenium, UFT etc. is a must
• Strong knowledge on Continuous Integration tools like Docker, Nexus, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, SonarQube etc.
• Good knowledge on Code scan tools like ATC, Sonarqube, Fortify, Checkmarx etc
• Knowledge on 3rd Party & Open source compliance
• Ability to drive quality of Projects across Different landscape like Cloud & On Premise
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are must haves to be successful in this role.
• Ability to quickly assess the appropriateness of a project set-up, derive necessary adjustments and respective management decisions.
• Strong analytical skills, effectiveness in problem-solving, results-oriented, pragmatic, hands-on person.
• Mature and proactive with a high sense of responsibility and reliability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility with key stakeholders across different lines of business and hierarchies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team player with proven record in leading and motivating team members from various locations, disciplines and nationalities.
• Functional knowledge of at least one SAP module so that can help the team perform the functional correctness testing
• Knowledge of the main certification methods (ISO, CMMI, etc.) is a plus.

Work Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software and/or managing software quality assurance and testing with at least 2 years either in the role of Quality Expert or Quality Program Accountable.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Automation experience is an added advantage
