In particular, we are making significant progress and purposeful investments to build transformative AI-enabled data products and solutions across multiple industrial verticals including high-tech, asset management, hospitality, travel, and retail. We are looking for passionate AI technocrats to spearhead development and commercialization of these data products and solutions. A few of the transformative themes we are focused on currently are hyper-personalization, AI guided selling, large-scale unstructured customer data mining with NLP, and dynamic pricing.

The leaders we are seeking will be based at our AI accelerator in Bangalore . Bangalore is one of the ZS CECs or capability and expertise centers in India (Pune and Delhi are the other two). At our AI accelerator in Bangalore our purpose is #makingAIwork for our customers. You will, therefore, work across the spectrum of innovation to industrialization . From our CECs, you will regularly engage and work closely with client personnel across the globe. You will deliver superior results for these clients, while, working in tandem with ZS counterparts, at one of our 25+ world-wide locations.

MakingAIwork requires leading a team of both data scientists and engineers (Big Data, ML). We are looking for AI technocrats who can effectively lead a hybrid team of scientists and engineers . This requires mastery in either advanced data science or engineering and working proficiency in the other. Currently, we have openings for both flavors of AI technocrats. You will be hired into a leadership track at ZS with a path to becoming a partner at the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative ML-based algorithmic solutions for complex business problems
• Architect and implement AI-enabled data products
• Drive parallel AI programs through effective large-scale project management
• Lead a hybrid teams of scientists + engineers to create AI solutions
• Engage with senior client leaders to deliver value through transformative solutions
• Work in tandem and partner effectively with global ZS colleagues
• Publish thought leadership pieces and present at leading industry conferences
• Foster ZS talent through recruiting and training contributions
• Shape ZS firm strategy in newer areas and practices including AI

Qualifications

• 8 – 12 years’ work experience in industry through consulting work or within an industry leader (a combination of experience is preferred)
• BE/ B.Tech from Tier-1 institute is required.
• Masters or PhD from a premier institute is highly preferred (in Comp. Sci. or allied areas)

Key Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of advanced algorithms (e.g. Deep learning, NLP, recommenders, etc.)
• Experience in applying ML algorithms to complex business problems
• Ability to frame first-of-a-kind business problems into analytical solutions
• Ability to rapidly research, experiment, and iterate towards practical working solutions
• Hands-on programming proficiency in open-source environments (e.g. Python)
• Knowledge of Big Data, cloud, and distributed computing paradigms + related technologies
• Experience in going beyond POCs to deploying large-scale AI solutions into production
• Domain knowledge in industry verticals such as travel, hospitality, retail, asset management, and high-tech is highly preferred

ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
