Job Title: Developer

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Purpose and Objective:

Ariba Inc. seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location r esponsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team .

Expectations and Tasks:

Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Demonstrate responsibility for accepted tasks, high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Work with other team members to ensure team success. Enhance skill beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Overall product knowledge and domain expertise.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of experience required. Will also accept a Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 2 years with the following: Object oriented fundamentals; relational database (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server); UI Skills (HTML, CSS); Javascript frontend frameworks/libraries .
