Purpose and Objective:

Ariba, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Downers Grove, IL location (and various client sites nationwide) responsible for application and process specific solution consulting (for a specific application and/or process area: creation of business blueprint, implementation based on a blueprint, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support).

Expectations and Tasks:

Support escalated projects and assess performance of feasibility studies and solution reviews. Support pre-sales activities and take over responsibility from time to time as a sub project team leader. Conduct detailed planning of process implementation. Define detailed blueprint for development requirements. Support in Industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP, OnPremise and Cloud)). Develop and assure quality of process models and demonstrating basic knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration and 5 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 2 years in the following: Maintain and configure SAP Supply Chain Management systems to enhance business functionality and overall performance including set up organization structure and organizational elements, prepare master data templates for various objects such as vendor master, and material master; Application Implementations and Rollouts including Business Requirement Gathering, Design, Build, Testing processes and support in the User Community as a Subject Matter Expert in Procure to Pay process adhering to Procurement, Information Technology and Security Policies of multiple business firms; Expert in complex system design & integration, business process reengineering, process management, business & data modelling; Techno-functional expertise in design and build of SAP Supply Chain solutions – Ariba, MM, SD, PP & WM; Expert in SAP Ariba Applications Integration - Ariba Supplier Life Cycle, Sourcing and Contracts solutions with SAP ERPs using different integration methods like Integrated Tool Kit, Webservices methods; Expert in SAP Ariba Source to Pay Processes with in-depth knowledge of Ariba Object model; Implement SAP Ariba solutions with multiple ERP systems; ERP cycle with relation to Procurement process and Analytics; Develop function modules & WRICEF objects, functional and technical design documents; Create new dashboards and visualizations to provide insight into underlying business reports; and Prepare reports using PIVOT tables and VLOOKUP in Excel to uncover important insights into data. Experience must also include Techno-functional expertise in design and build of SAP Ariba features customization and eforms for business processes; and develop analytic solutions, analyze data sets, clean and filter data, and design visualizations to support business needs. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
