Purpose and Objective:
Ariba, Inc seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Alpharetta, Georgia location responsible for customer focused delivery and SAP Ariba solution expertise.
Expectations and Tasks:
Responsible for delivering sound, quality tasks, and deliverables on time and within budget. Focus on the rapid transformation of client organizations into world-class managers of spend, through innovative, high-quality, global, Spend Management Solutions that create sustainable bottom-line results. Serve as SAP Ariba solutions specialist on application functionality as a member of the Field Delivery Implementation Team. Responsible for contributing to the content and applying the SAP Ariba Consulting Deployment process and SAP Activate methodology to meet customer needs within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW). Act as a liaison between the customer and various groups within SAP Ariba such as Technical Support, and Shared Services. Utilize knowledge of customer’s business and industry to assess findings and shape solutions. Ensures client success within the realm and scope of the Statement of Work (SOW). Speak to a variety of customers from different departments, at different levels, and in large or small groups (e.g., client project manager, technical team). Know customer problems and anticipate their needs. Assist with identifying client issues. Recognize the service needs associated with a client-focused business model. Develop positive relationships with the client team while delivering tasks. Assist customers through the lifecycle of an SAP Ariba implementation. Assist customers in the development of processes and procedures which leverage SAP Ariba solution functionality being deployed. Contribute to functional and technical design documents. Participate in project management tasks to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget. Share knowledge and experience through training and communications with customers. Build solution, customer, and industry knowledge by leveraging the appropriate resources (internally at SAP Ariba and externally at the client). Synthesize learnings into a logical story using quantitative/qualitative data and/or sound reasoning. Communicate to effectively resolve problems or issues. Solve client problems by using SAP Ariba solutions. Present SAP Ariba solutions credibly and confidently to clients and SAP Ariba consultants. Complete SAP Ariba certifications as agreed upon with comprehension of 3-4 SAP Ariba Modules. Maintain regular communication with team members. Collaborate with teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution delivery. Partner internal and external resources to optimize client impact and support team members for the better good of the client engagement and SAP Ariba. Assist in coordinating activities between the customer and SAP Ariba internal teams such as Product and Technical Support, Field Technology, Product Management, and Education. 80% travel required to various client sites nationwide
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study and 1 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 0 years of experience.
