This position is responsible for managing the Investments Department’s Insider Trading Prevention program and other compliance monitoring and testing activity. This person will act in an advisory capacity, providing advice and guidance to the global Investments Department on controls, support for systems, and be involved in surveillance and direct monitoring activity to ensure that investments personnel are complying with company trading and personal trading policies and procedures and are otherwise acting in an authorized capacity. This position requires working collaboratively with Investments, GTO, and Finance as well as with other Investments Department risk control organizations, including Operation Risk Management, Investments Law Department and Internal Audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily administration of the Code of Ethics and Ethical Wall policies including maintenance of restricted issuer lists;
  • Provide administrative support for the FIS personal trading assistant reporting system;
  • Develop and conduct training sessions and provide advice and guidance on requirements;
  • Prepare regulatory filings and deliver corporate documents to support trading activities;
  • Oversee team to review sanctions screening results;
  • Conduct email surveillance;
  • Monitor company and personal trading for unauthorized activity;

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • College graduate;
  • 5-7 years’ experience in financial services with a focus on insider trading controls;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate with all levels of management;
  • Previous training experience;
  • Ability to work with complicated excel spreadsheets;
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work;

Preferred:

  • FIS Personal Trading Assistant system experience and foreign languages
